Global Associate Network
Global Associates are independent researchers sharing GLOBMOD core values and collaborating on specific research and consultancy projects. They are based in different Countries around the world, and cover a variety of topics relevant to Health and Health-Economics, ranging from clinical medicine to economic modeling and applied mathematics. The Global Associate is typically a researcher with strong quantitative skills, trained at the Master or PhD level, and usually with 2 or more years of relevant experience in Public Health and/or Health Economics, or with a strong expertise in strategic technologies and methods relevant to Public Health and Health Economics. We are particularly interested in original and enthusiastic thinkers that are willing to turn brilliant ideas into analyses, models, and publications, but we are also interested in highly experienced individuals willing to act as advisers. We are currently looking for the following profiles: - Health Economists and Health Outcome Researchers; - Epidemiologists and Experts in Disease Modeling; - Experts in Advanced Statistical Methods, in Large Data Set Processing, and in Artificial Intelligence; - Experts in R&D of Health Technologies; - Clinicians and Clinical Managers. Mode of Collaboration Global Associates and GLOBMOD may collaborate in three ways: - Jointly applying for research funding and undertaking research projects; - Undertaking joint consultancy projects; - Sharing information, ideas, know-how, and professional contacts. Global Associates may initiate and lead research projects or be invited to join in a project led by GLOBMOD or by other Global Associates. When applying for research funding, GLOBMOD may propose the involvement of one or more Associates, depending on expertise and project needs. GLOBMOD may also contract Associates to collaborate on a consultancy project (subject to client approval). How to Apply Please send a copy of your CV and 90-180 words describing your professional activity, emphasizing one or two areas in which you envisage a collaboration, based on your academic background and professional experience and interest, to: info@globmod.com We will confirm within few days whether we see a potential for collaboration and synergies. General Terms and Conditions In the absence of, and beyond what stated in, a project-specific written contract between the two parts, the Global Associate and GLOBMOD have no mutual legal or financial obligation. However they remain bound by confidentiality on ongoing research-related planning and discussions. Moreover, if information on the content of a research proposal or of a business activity initiated by one party has been shared and willingly acquired by the other party, the latter party shall not separately compete for the same research funding or client (non-competition). Termination of the agreement does not affect the above mentioned commitment to confidentiality and non-competition. Each party shall agree to inform immediately the other about any present or past activity, or change in legal or professional status, that may compromise independence of judgments, and/or constitute, or be reasonably perceived as, a conflict of interest. The Global Associate authorizes GLOBMOD to publish her/his name, titles, and professional information on the GLOBMOD website (www.globmod.com). Any privacy-related concern may be discussed on a case-by-case basis. GLOBMOD shall not issue any statement, take any commitment, or carry out activities on behalf of an Associate, without prior written authorization. To the same extent, an Associate cannot issue any statement, take any commitment, or carry out activities on behalf of GLOB MOD without prior written authorization. The association between a Global Associate and GLOBMOD may be terminated anytime by either party with a written communication (e-mails are valid for this purpose if followed by a reply acknowledging receipt sent by the recipient to the sender). A period of 90 calendar days must be allowed for the removal of any relevant information from the GLOBMOD website. Termination of the association does not affect project-specific contractual obligations. The parties are committed to settle any potential complaint or dispute through negotiation or mediation, notwithstanding (unless otherwise agreed in writing) the competent legal jurisdiction is Barcelona, Spain. |
